Well, you’ve kicked this week off with quite an accomplishment today… you woke up! Here’s a little Monday Morning Haiku to celebrate the occasion:
Difficult to wake,
Stumbling along in a daze,
It must be Monday.
After a long day of ministry on Sunday, it always seems like the alarm sounds a little more shrill and my eyes have a more difficult time opening on Monday mornings! I don’t know about all of you, but I find myself needing to cling especially tight to this promise on Mondays!
“Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
