I have no doubt this applies literally. What used to be the worst road around these parts led straight to Bush Lake and we had some incredibly joyful, peaceful times there. Yet, it has it’s philosophical applications as well. 😉

  I agree! Here in the mountains this is certainly true – you have to travel the steep roads to take in the most breathtaking views!
