T – Trains: A Haiku

Trains have always symbolized our life’s journey in my mind – our pursuit of new destinations, powered by our dreams and hard work.

In honor of National Poetry Month, I’ve packaged this sentiment into an original Haiku poem…

Racing toward its goals,

Arrive – a glimpse of glory –

Rushing, breathless…………………gone.

Today’s post is part of the A-to-Z Challenge, where participants commit to posting one article for each day during the month of April – one for every letter of the alphabet.

Check back here at “The Artistic Christian” for a daily slice of art (art reviews, practical tips, and motivation for artists), all steeped in a rich Christian worldview.

  2. That’s a cool shot of a steam engine. (Great haiku too, didn’t mean to dismiss that.) Where was this taken? Amazing that you were on the side of the tracks and could get this shot.
