Wordless Wednesday – The Great Christmas Tree Hunt

We took the kids to a tree farm near our house to cut down our own Christmas Tree this year… we ended up with a scraggly little weed that would never pass for a real tree in the major stores, but the kids just fell in love with it!

  1. Cute!!! Like the verse too. 🙂 guess you have your tree up before ours. I think ours will probably come up a day or two after Christmas. Its just too busy to put it up before, you know? 😉

    1. It looks like your son picked out a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. One year I waited until last minute to get a tree and only a few were left on the lot. I brought home the best of a scraggly bunch. We decorated it and went off to my son’s hockey game. When we got home it had keeled over on the floor. It remained in our family’s memory long after we had forgotten the “perfect” ones.

      1. Wow – now THAT’s a Charlie Brown tree alright! Sounds like a wonderful memory! While I was in college my roommate was a balloon artist for a fancy restaurant, and made us a balloon tree! I think that was my most memorable tree…
