We took the kids to a tree farm near our house to cut down our own Christmas Tree this year… we ended up with a scraggly little weed that would never pass for a real tree in the major stores, but the kids just fell in love with it!
So many to choose from…

Beautiful kids! You can tell they really know how to pick out a tree because the scraggly ones are the best. 🙂 And I love the verse, too. Merry Christmas to the Miller Family!

That’s awesome! I think kids like those small ones best because they’re “kid-sized”…
Merry Christmas to you all, too!

Cute!!! Like the verse too. 🙂 guess you have your tree up before ours. I think ours will probably come up a day or two after Christmas. Its just too busy to put it up before, you know? 😉

You should put your tree up on Christmas Eve… it could become a fun family tradition!

Christmas Eve we go to my Great-grandpa’s house to get together and have a white elephant exchange. 😉

Great photos! Every year we get a tree in a pot (some might think ours is also a straggly wee tree!) and then after Christmas it goes back into my partner’s Mum’s garden and we get it back the next year. Until it gets too big then we choose another.

It looks like your son picked out a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. One year I waited until last minute to get a tree and only a few were left on the lot. I brought home the best of a scraggly bunch. We decorated it and went off to my son’s hockey game. When we got home it had keeled over on the floor. It remained in our family’s memory long after we had forgotten the “perfect” ones.

Wow – now THAT’s a Charlie Brown tree alright! Sounds like a wonderful memory! While I was in college my roommate was a balloon artist for a fancy restaurant, and made us a balloon tree! I think that was my most memorable tree…

What a neat idea! I love that you’re able to use the same tree year after year this way…
