We rang in the Fall Season by visiting a Pumpkin Patch which contained over 70,000 pumpkins! There’s just so much to love about Fall, and excitement was in the air!
“There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
We are on the Texas Gulf Coast. I enjoy going fishing with my husband on our favorite fishing pier, and not frying in a heat index over a hundred. In the fall we are not hot or cold, and the breeze is awesome.

We live in Texas also, and amen to finally escaping those 100-degree temperatures! Some people might think I’m crazy for thinking that 80-degree weather is cool, but over here that’s just the way it is! It really is the best part of Fall in this corner of the world…

You just HAD to ask that question, didn’t you? I love EVERYTHING about Fall…my favorite time of year:-)
The crispness and smell in the air, the gorgeous foliage colors, the crunch of dried leaves under our feet as we walk, cozy sweaters and hoodies, honey crisp apples, apple cider, apple cake, apple pie, (maybe I love apples a little TOO much???) pumpkins and pumpkin everything! Roasting hotdogs on a chilly night, spicy chili…and the fact that Thanksgiving Day is on its way. So many things to be thankful for, especially all my family and friends that share these wonderful blessings with me.
Have a blessed day!

Well done, Bernadette… you’ve just captured the magic of Fall in a few short words! I don’t think it’s possible to love apples too much (or pumpkin, for that matter)… thanks for sharing, and enjoy this wonderful season!

I love the crisp feeling in the air. Caramel Apples made with my kids. I love that it gets dark earlier so when my kids were young we spent the evenings together as a family playing games or watching TV. It is so nice to have a change from the heat of the summer and transition into the winter.

So true… it’s definitely great weather for Family Movie Nights and Family Game Nights! Just the other night I taught my daughter how to play Battleship, and after she said “Are you really going to make me play that boy game?” she ended up loving it! Thanks for sharing… I’m suddenly feeling a Caramel Apple craving coming on!
